UPDATE 13th March

Freddy was busy painting his breakfast of carrot and potato over his mother as a special (40th) birthday treat when Arthur kindly paid an unexpected visit with all his cameras. So Freddy obliged with one of his new smiles - until it all got a bit tiring. He has now moved on to solids in the hope that this will cure his reflux (now the only thing that is keeping him in hospital). You wouldn't think he could get much fatter these days but he now tips the scales at a weighty 12 lbs 2 oz. He is also taking an interest in the world above bosom level and is being encouraged to work on his muscle tone with daily sessions in his baby gym.
